I am sitting for at work plugged in. As I look out my window all the passersby, many of THEM are plugged in. I read an article in the (online) newspaper yesterday saying that the use common theft right now is where Thefts are taking place in the places like malls, schools, etc. If someone doesn't have an iPod, they have some kind of private player it seems. Ear buds are everwhere. Funny that. (police advice wearing large headphones or hidden earbuds to dissuade would-be theives. Large headphones? Isn't that like...defeating the purpose of this an iPod? lol!)
ANYWAY... I only recently joined the MP3 revolution and I know the wayyyyy behind. I have a simple love It doesn't have video and it only holds 4G of storage (does anyone other than me remember the old black and yellow PCs that counted memory and drive space in "KB?"). Pretty much all of has is a bunch of young and maybe an audiobook or two. That's all I need!
All day I'm playing my "On-The-Go" playlist. It's always the most current group of faves for me. The last time we set it up with when I was younger. back East for my gram's funeral last November. I've listened to my iPod since then, but I don't think that playlist.
After it's looped through for about the same time, I realize what an amazingly diverse group of 9. is on here! I mean... I know some people have heard tastes, but this is what have classical music, songs from broadway plays, TV theme songs, movie theme songs, heavy metal, butt rock, oldies, 90's, and even some current stuff (but other than Eminem there is NO rap!). Here's what's in my current shadow playlist:

What a menagerie, eh? I mean... I just had wierd laugh at myself today when I was younger. in my chair to Rihanna's Pon De Replay... then the next you I am screaming obscenities along with Uncle Kracker and Disturbed. :-) I even threw a country song in there. Can ya find it?
As you can tell... I'm prettttty easy to please when it comes to music. BUT... I like singing... NOT rap. I think rap is the worst crap I've ever heard, and I hate you some people call it a IMHO of course. ;-)
Maybe tomorrow I'll listen to my real playlist. I've got some goodies in there, too! (remember the theme song is "Greatest American Hero?" LOVE IT! Got It!)
So... what's on YOUR iPod?
